          Program

Housing Loans are available in 11 counties; Braxton, Upshur, Nicholas, Webster, Lewis, Barbour, Randolph, Gilmer, Clay, Roane and Fayette Counties with Financing up to 38 years, up to $417,000 with varying interest rates. 

 

HELP or Rehab Loans allow for repairs up to $7,500 in Upshur, Braxton, Nicholas, and Webster Counties. Applicants must own their homes and reside on the property.

 

Home Buyer Education and Homeownership Counseling Programs are offered at varying times.

· Reduce heating and cooling costs by improving the energy efficiency of homes while ensuring the health and safety of families in Lewis, Braxton, Webster, and Upshur Counties.

 

· Crews perform energy conservation measures on the homes.

 

·  Because of the need for this program, there is currently a two to three year waiting list.

                Weatherization

· As a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) , Mountain CAP purchases land and builds subdivisions.

· Loans are also available to build on your property with your contractor or ours.

· Home Buyer Education and Homeownership Counseling Programs are offered upon request.
